Yumart Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Sarjoo Traders-Kholo Dukan Online collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Yumart mobile application and related services available via Kholo dukan Online .

Information we collect

Account & Contact Information: name, phone number, email address.
Addresses & Location: delivery address and pincode; optional coarse location to autofill address when you allow it.
Order & Transaction Data: items in cart, order history, delivery notes, payment status (we do not store full card/UPI details).
Device & App Diagnostics: crash logs, performance data, and basic device metadata for app reliability and security.
Optional Media: images you upload (e.g., for profile or reviews).

No advertising: Yumart does not serve ads and does not use the Advertising ID for ad personalization. If this changes, we will update this policy and the in-app disclosures.

How we use the information

To create and manage your Yumart account.
To process orders, arrange delivery, and provide customer support.
To send order updates, service messages, and (with your consent) promotional communications.
To maintain security, prevent fraud, fix bugs, and improve performance.
To comply with law and platform requirements.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Delivery partners for order fulfillment (name, phone, address, order items as needed).
Payment processors (e.g., UPI/card gateways) to complete your transactions. Payment credentials are handled by the gateway and not stored by us.
Service providers for infrastructure, analytics, crash/error reporting, and notifications—under contracts that limit their use of the data.
Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Data retention

Account and order data is retained for the life of your account and as required for taxation, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Diagnostic logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS encryption in transit, restricted access, and least-privilege controls.

Your choices & rights

You may access, update, or delete certain profile details in the app.
You may request deletion of your account or data (subject to legal/record-keeping obligations) by contacting us.
You may opt out of promotional emails/SMS at any time; we will still send essential service messages (e.g., order updates).

Permissions used in the app

Location (optional): to speed up address entry and show nearby delivery availability; not stored without your action.
Media/Photos (optional): only when you upload an image (e.g., profile/review).
Other runtime permissions are requested only when needed for a feature you use.

Children

Yumart is intended for users aged 18+ and is not directed to children.

International transfers

If data is processed or stored outside your region, we apply safeguards consistent with applicable laws.
